Speak See Hear Consent announces the launch of SSHmoji's!

Consent is: loud and clear!

SSH are an organisation who aim to dispel rape myths rooted in stereotypical and prejudicial beliefs about causes of sexual assaults, rapists and victims of rape.

"Speak, See, Hear!"

Let's start Talking, Listening and Hearing!

From the police force, to the government, to policies. Communication is fundamental in obtaining consent.  Sexual activity without consent is considered rape! The consequences could result in hefty prison sentences or being put on the "Sex Offenders Register!"

Rape culture is fuelled by misogyny and victim blaming by both men and women alike.

Rebecca from SSH said "When will we hold accountable the perpetrator and stop victim blaming."

Our SSHmoji's were launched to raise awareness of the campaign and the proceedes will be used to help the victims of rape and sexual assault.

Ethan from SSH said "Adapting to the digital age has really helped us increase our reach."

Our SSHmoji's are female and male. Their names being:

Police recorded crime figures show an increase of 37% in all sexual offences for the year ending March 2015 compared with previous years.

(ONS)

1/3 of people believe women who flirt are partially responsible for being raped.

(Amnesty)

A final point to note is that there is a huge under-reporting of sexual offences as well as less convictions and cases going to court.

The SSHmoji's are ready to download for your use on the "App Store!"
